Event Configuration¶
Basic Settings¶
- Content - The layout, playlist, or media to schedule
- Display/Group - Target displays or display groups
- From Date - Start date and time
- To Date - End date and time
Advanced Settings¶
- Priority - Higher priority events replace lower priority ones
- Display Order - Order within same-priority events
- Run at CMS Time - Use CMS timezone instead of display timezone
- Geo Location - Restrict to specific geographic areas
Recurrence¶
Set events to repeat on a schedule. See Using Repeats for details.
Overlay Events¶
Overlay events display content on top of the currently scheduled layout:
- Select Overlay Layout as the event type
- Design a layout with transparent regions
- The overlay appears above the base content
Info
Overlays are useful for persistent elements like news tickers, logos, or emergency alerts.
Interrupt Events¶
Interrupt events immediately take over the display:
- Used for emergency messages or urgent announcements
- Override all other scheduled content
- Play for the configured duration, then return to the normal schedule
