Notifications Module

Display CMS notification messages on your digital signage layouts.

Overview

The Notifications widget shows messages created in the SignageLab CMS Notification Centre. This is useful for broadcasting announcements to displays.

Configuration

1. Add a Notifications widget to your layout
2. Configure display options:
   • Maximum Age - Only show notifications newer than this
   • Maximum Items - Limit the number of notifications displayed
   • Styling - Font, color, and layout options

Creating Notifications

Notifications are created from the CMS:

1. Click the bell icon in the top navigation
2. Click Add Notification
3. Enter the Subject and Body
4. Select target user groups or displays
5. Set Priority and optional Interrupt settings
6. Click Save

Notifications with Interrupt enabled will immediately show on targeted displays, overriding the current schedule.
