Layout Templates

Save your layouts as templates for reuse across your organization, ensuring consistent branding and efficient content creation.

Saving a Layout as a Template

  1. Navigate to Design > Layouts
  2. Find the layout you want to save as a template
  3. Open the row menu (three dots)
  4. Select Save Template
  5. Provide a Name and optional Description
  6. Click Save

Using Saved Templates

When creating a new layout:

  1. Click Add Layout
  2. Browse the Templates section in the editor
  3. Your saved templates appear alongside system templates
  4. Select a template to use as your starting point

Managing Templates

Navigate to Design > Templates to:

  • View all available templates
  • Edit template properties (name, description)
  • Delete templates you no longer need
  • Export templates for sharing

Best Practices

  • Create templates for common layout patterns (announcements, menus, directories)
  • Use consistent branding elements (colors, logos, fonts)
  • Include placeholder content that's easy to identify and replace
  • Name templates descriptively for easy discovery
